...How true this is when you consider 5 star brands! Here’s just a few examples of the luxurious little touches that we were treated to in Dubai.

Oh, not forgetting a choice of steak knife at the steak house!

 

...but it was really amazing to watch the nurse using the scanner like a mouse in her right hand and the dashboard, (see ulatrasound machine), with her left. She navigated through space and time, moving her right hand around 'the bump' and then zoomed into the womb using a jog-dial on the dashboard, it was fascinating to watch. I wonder how long it will be before the windowed environment that we use on our desktop PCs evolves into this kind of experience?

Most designers will be familiar with the form VS function conundrum, but this weekend it was at the front of my mind; whilst my mum's cottage in Kent is beautifully FORMED, the low beams proved extremely non-FUNCTIONAL.
